For those of you unfamiliar with Netflix’s thought-provoking original show “Black Mirror,” the premise is deceptively simple. Described as “a Twilight Zone for a digital age,” each episode examines the unease that we might feel with technology having permeated pretty much every aspect of our daily lives.

Created by Will Brooker, each standalone episode plays on the paranoia we might feel about the intrusiveness of technology, and the potentially mostly negative ramifications that this could have in the future. Each episode delves deep into the human psyche. While some episodes could get particularly uncomfortable based on your technological fears, we promise that following the twists and turns, the surprising conclusions are always worth it.

With two seasons already behind them, the third season will be available on Netflix October 21st. It will consist of 6 new stories (episodes) called  "Nosedive," "Playtest," "Shut up and Dance," "San Junipero," "Men Against Fire," and "Hated in the Nation.” It will star Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve, James Norton, Cherry Jones,  Wyatt Russell, Alex Lawther and plenty more.
